Ajith Kumar’s Daredevil Movie Update
Fresh details about the Ajith Kumar Daredevil cast and filming plans have emerged from director Adhik Ravichandran’s latest interview. The filmmaker has named Sreeleela, Prabhu, R. Parthiban and Sunil among the actors associated with the Tamil film. He has also outlined plans to begin shooting in Hyderabad on November 12, 2026, a date that differs from the production’s earlier announcement.
The remarks, circulated from a Behindwoods interview on October 27, offer a more specific picture of Ajith Kumar’s next project after Good Bad Ugly. However, its storyline, the roles played by the supporting cast, and the theatrical release date remain undisclosed.
🎬 Ajith Kumar Daredevil cast: Sreeleela, Prabhu, Parthiban and Sunil
Adhik has identified Sreeleela, veteran Tamil actor Prabhu, actor-filmmaker R. Parthiban and Telugu actor Sunil as part of the Daredevil line-up. He also indicated that more cast members will be revealed later.
Prabhu’s involvement has an additional connection to the lead actor. In the interview remarks, Adhik said Ajith Kumar specifically wanted Prabhu in the film, referring to the rapport between the two actors. This is a casting detail rather than a clue about their on-screen relationship.
Sreeleela’s name is particularly noteworthy because recent, unconfirmed casting reports had suggested a possible change to the female lead. Her inclusion in the director’s latest comments should be distinguished from those earlier reports. A complete cast announcement from Bravehearts Production is still awaited.
🎥 Daredevil shooting update: Hyderabad from November 12
The most important production detail concerns the proposed start of filming. Adhik’s interview comments indicate that the team plans to roll cameras in Hyderabad on November 12, 2026, at 8.05 am. He explained that unpredictable rainfall in Chennai influenced the decision to film the Indian portions in Hyderabad, allowing the schedule to proceed with fewer weather-related uncertainties.

This is later than the November 2 shooting date announced alongside the film’s September first-look poster. The latest interview therefore points to a revised camera-roll plan. It does not, by itself, clarify whether any previously discussed launch or pooja event will still take place on November 2, and a separate revised schedule from the production banner has not been established.
Hyderabad is not the only location under consideration. Adhik also named Malaysia and Bangkok as overseas filming destinations. The order of those schedules, the number of shooting days, and the scenes planned for each location have not been disclosed.
🎞️ A different approach from Good Bad Ugly
Adhik also drew a distinction between this project and his previous Ajith Kumar film, Good Bad Ugly (2025). He described that film as being made strongly with the actor’s fan base in mind, while presenting Daredevil as entertainment intended for a wider audience, including younger viewers, families and children.
The director suggested that Ajith’s stylish appearance would be explored more fully this time. He also said that Ajith had suggested the titles of both Good Bad Ugly and Daredevil. These comments speak to the film’s intended presentation, but they are not an official synopsis or a confirmation of its genre.
The Ajith-Adhik reunion was announced earlier this year under the title Daredevil. Shalini Ajithkumar is producing it under the Bravehearts Production banner, and Anirudh Ravichander is handling the music. The previously announced technical team also includes cinematographer Abinandhan Ramanujam, editor Vijay Velukutty, and stunt choreographer Supreme Sundar.
