Nooru Kodi Vaanavil to Premiere on ZEE5 on November 6; Harish Kalyan, Siddhi Idnani Lead
Harish Kalyan and Siddhi Idnani’s long-delayed Tamil film Nooru Kodi Vaanavil is set to premiere on ZEE5 on 6 November 2026. The new promotional poster, shared on 28 October, introduces the film as a “Tamil ZEE5 Original”, giving director Sasi’s romantic drama a firm streaming date after years of uncertainty. The Nooru Kodi Vaanavil OTT release date also signals a digital-first launch rather than a newly announced theatrical opening.
📺 Nooru Kodi Vaanavil OTT Release Date and Platform
The latest poster confirms ZEE5 as the streaming home and Friday, 6 November, as premiere day. It places Harish Kalyan and Siddhi Idnani at the center of a colorful romantic illustration, with the release information prominently displayed.
🎬 Why the Film’s Release Has Taken Time
Nooru Kodi Vaanavil was first announced in January 2022, when its title and an official motion poster were unveiled. The project was introduced as an intense love story, with Harish Kalyan and Siddhi Idnani playing the lead roles. Its initial promotional campaign established the cast and technical team, but the project remained unreleased for years.
While promoting his subsequent film Nooru Saami in June 2026, Sasi acknowledged that Nooru Kodi Vaanavil remained unreleased. He did not establish a definitive reason for the delay. The November streaming announcement therefore provides the clearest release plan for a film that first entered the public eye more than four years ago.
Sasi has previously directed Poo, Pichaikkaran and Sivappu Manjal Pachai. The combination of his romance-oriented storytelling and the two lead actors was part of the project’s original appeal, although the finished film’s story and performances will be clearer only when it premieres.
👥 Cast and Crew of Nooru Kodi Vaanavil
Alongside Harish Kalyan and Siddhi Idnani, the announced cast includes Kovai Sarala, Thambi Ramaiah, Chinni Jayanth, Sampath and VJ Parvathy. Sasi has written and directed the film, with Siddhu Kumar handling the music, Prasanna S Kumar the cinematography, and M Subarak the editing.
Balaji Kapa is credited as producer on the new poster, which also carries the banners of Madhav Media and Arun Arunachalam Production. The promotional artwork retains the film’s romantic focus, showing the lead pair in a close embrace against a vivid red-and-blue background.
