Story✍️:
A retired Cop and Jailer Tiger Muthuvel Pandian (Rajinikanth) lives a normal happy life with his wife (Ramya Krishnan), son (Vasanth Ravi) who is also an ACP, daughter-in-law (Mirnaa Menon) and grandson (Rithvik). Muthuvel Pandian’s son goes to investigate a crime gang led by Varman, who steals and smuggles idols of gods and sells them overseas. Pandian’s son goes missing and is assumed dead. Infuriated Pandian went in search of this gang to take revenge.
His mission, travel, the people he sees, and the troubles he faced in this process answers the questions that set the tone for the rest of the story.
Analysis 🕵️♂️:
The first half of the film is full of commercial elements – decent comedy, emotion, and chemistry between Ritvik and Rajinikanth. It starts on a decent note showing Rajini in a calm role. The background setting of the crime world, the relation between father and son was also shown in a good way. The impact gets on pace after a serious turn and Rajinikanth’s character takes charge, things get interesting and the interval episode also came well.
Vinayakan as the main antagonist elevates the film from the beginning to the end. It sets the tone for a terrific turn of events.
The first 15 minutes after the post-Interval flashback sequence had a great impact, but after that, the film loses grip with some poor dark comedy sequences. Sunil, Tamanna’s episode turned out to be another disappointment. Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal mass cameo elevates the movie to a different level. The climax episode came well, and it makes the overall effect a bit better.
Technical Aspects ⚙️:
Outstanding BGM by Anirudh. All the songs are top-notch. Anirudh music is one of the backbones of the movie. Stunt sequences are of the highest quality. Art director DRK Kiran should be also applauded for his work.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s terrific screen presence, superb performance, Anirudh’s Background Score, and a few terrific sequences along with the Climax work well for the film. Shivanna, Mohanlal’s cameo ignited the movie. Overall the film will be a decent outing if you watch without much expectation.
Rajinikanth and Nelson are back on the success track.
Definite outing for Rajinikanth fans. Enjoyable outing for the general audience.
